Things to Do

Guests can take a self-guided walking tour of historic East Main Street which features many beautiful older homes.  Other sites of interest within a short distance include Oakland's Historic House Museum and Middle Tennessee State University (the largest undergraduate university in the state).

We're within walking distance of nine restaurants for your noon and evening dining pleasure.  There are also numerous shops on the historic downtown square, with shopping options ranging from hardware to antiques and camping supplies to clothing boutiques.

Guests are welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee or juice on the front porch.  In chillier weather, the living room fireplace provides a cozy alternative for relaxing.  Board games can be played in your room, or a card table can be set up in the living room.
